FAQ Facial Enhancements

1. Does the procedure hurt? Most people say no. Some say like a light pop of a rubber band.

2. What is used? A hylaron acid which your body makes naturally so there is very little chance of an allergic reaction.

3. How does this work with no needles? It uses air pressure to place the product.

4. Is it safe? Yes, this method has been used all over the world.

5. How long does it take for the procedure? It normally takes between 30-60 minutes.

6. I am on blood thinners can I still have this done? Yes but it is recommended for you not to take them 72 hours prior to treatment. It causes excessive bruising.

7. What should I expect afterwards? Generally there can be bruising and swelling. That can last up to 14 days. Sometimes there are small bumps that you need to massage 2 times a day after applying a warm compress. To help with the swelling and bruising use a cold compress but not ice (especially if you have lumps).

8. Other then hylaron acid what is in the product? The product I use contains lidocaine. If you are allergic to lidocaine please let me know so I can order product without it.

9. Why do you say it is best to be done in 2-3 sessions? Because this product is best and has the longest retention when used in layers.

10. How long does the results last? Most results last up to 1 year. Approximately every 6-9 months it is recommended for a top off.

11. What happens if I have cold sore or in the past have had them? If you are prone to cold sores this could cause one to come out.

12. Do you do the lines around the eyes (crows feet)? No I don't do around the eyes.

13. What areas can you do? I do the lips, wrinkles in the forehead, 11 lines, nasolabial folds, and chin.
